About Flavour SA - The Food Industry Association Inc.
Flavour South Australia is a member based industry association.
Through strategic planning & networks across regional South Australia, Flavour SA works as a facilitator between its members, government & the market place. Flavour SA is represented at the
Premier's Food Council & other industry bodies, industry workshops, conventions and other regional & industry groups.
The association was developed to provide a forum for small to medium producers and enable them to share ideas, their experiences and lobby government with industry concerns. Flavour SA is the vehicle for discussion and support between the members to share success and problems, to offer advice and support, and to interact as a unified group focused on increasing sales. It is the chance to be part of an integrated Industry group representing a vibrant, growing sector of South Australia's economy.
As an information source, innovation enabler & industry voice, Flavour South Australia is focussed on helping small to medium manufacturers increase their domestic sales, & assist in direction to export markets.
Flavour SA objectives are to:
- To be the recognised voice of the South Australian Food Industry
- To provide networking opportunities and information
- Development of interstate markets
- To positively influence policy and regulation regarding food
- To play a significant support role in assisting member companies to become competitive in regional and national markets
- To have a growing, broad, active and appreciative membership base throughout the state
- To facilitate the recognition of South Australian food producers throughout Australia
- To be the key provider of relevant information in the food industry
